I might just be reading up on conjugated linoleic acid and not totally be excited for tomorrow, but Glee’s season finale will be tomorrow!!!
As much as I will really miss Glee (until Season 3), I am excited to see the episode, after religiously following forums for spoilers, taking in photo over photo and following tweets from the cast.
Here is the ‘New York’ Song List:
1. New Directions, ‘I Love New York/New York, New York’ (Madonna/’On the Town’)
2. Sam, Artie and Puck, ‘Bella Notte’ (from ‘Lady & the Tramp’)

8. Will, ‘Still Got Tonight’ (Matthew Morrison)
9. Brittany and Artie, ‘My Cup’ (Original Song)
And:
Yes, Rachel and Finn will kiss during their performance.
Can you tell I’ve missed Glee? I can’t wait for the February 6th comeback episode.
The episode will focus on the increasing tension between the glee club and the football team, instigated by closeted player Karofsky’s (Max Adler) bullying of gay teen Kurt (Chris Colfer). To force a truce at the school, Will (Matthew Morrison) and Coach Beiste (Dot-Marie Jones) make the jocks join the glee club. When the plan inevitably backfires, look for the ladies of New Directions to help their male pals on the field.
Meanwhile, Sue (Jane Lynch) is after a cheerleading competition title and thinks the best way to impress the judges is to risk the life of Brittany (Heather Morris). “I put her in a human cannon,” says Lynch. “I’m told by the principal I can’t because of insurance considerations and liability, and I destroy his office in a rage, the likes of which have not been seen.” Sue’s exploits actually nab the attention of CBS news anchor (and admitted Gleek) Katie Couric, who interviews the Cheerios coach in the episode.
It’s Sue’s Cheerios who also deliver the episode’s other explosive performance, an opening dance to Katy Perry’s smash “California Gurls” designed to keep male viewers glued to the screen after the game…Describes Morris,
“It’s BMXers and girls, and not only are they shooting fire out of their boobs, but there’s a fire whip. Then there’s all of us cheerleaders in blue wigs and all we do is shake our ass. It’s crazy.” Adds Falchuk, “We stuff in there understanding that there are a lot of dudes who watch the Super Bowl. So it was making sure that the dudes who refuse to watch Glee are like, Wait a second!” Flaming breasts tend to have that effect.
OTHER spoilers:
Prepare for the show’s couplings to be shuffled. Most surprising? Resident hot blonds Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Quinn (Dianna Agron) will start seeing other people. Explains Murphy, “I got bored. They were too perfect.” But that doesn’t mean that Sam will be on his own. “He starts dating Santana,” says Murphy. “He needs a little salsa spice.” Murphy adds that Quinn will also find comfort in the form of her old boyfriend, Finn. Shocking!
Speaking of potential romances, the Super Bowl ep will also feature a duet of Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” by Puck (Mark Salling) and Rachel. Ms. Berry will later team with Mercedes (Amber Riley) on Rent’s “Take Me or Leave Me.”
I am sure you are all excited to watch Glee’s last episode of the year tomorrow! While I get to study the life insurance quotes given to my for perusal, Glee’s Christmas album is running in the background.
Sneak vids of Baby It’s Cold Outside and Merry Christmas, Darling here.

What to look forward to: GLEE “A Very Glee Christmas” Season 2 Episode 10 – Finn tries to bring a little holiday cheer to McKinley High, and Artie discovers that Brittany still believes in Santa. Meanwhile, the teachers pick their Secret Santas, and one manipulative coach rigs the gift-giving in her favor!
Finally, the story just keeps getting better. I was afraid they were losing the storyline, with focusing more on the songs instead of the characters (The show wont hold up with just songs! People need a story to look forward to every week). Notice how almost all songs were towards the end. You would not even care Kurt is missing so much in this episode, or Mr. Schuester for that matter. Slip a chair slipcover in his head and he might as well have no story to look forward to now that Emma is married. Maybe Holly Holiday will now be back!
Naya, aka. Santana, nails it. However, I was enthralled with Mike and Heather’s dancing. Bravo!
So great to see other cast members shine in this episode. Just a question – what is happening with Will? (B-o-r-i-n-g)
‘Special Education’ Songs List:
1. Kurt and Rachel, ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina’ (from ‘Evita’)
2. The Hipsters, ‘The Living Years’ (Mike and the Mechanics)
3. Blaine and the Dalton Academy Warblers, ‘Hey, Soul Sister’ (Train)
4. Sam and Quinn, ‘(I’ve Had) The Time of my Life’ (Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes)
5. Santana, ‘Valerie’ (The Zutons)
6. New Directions, ‘Dog Days Are Over’ (Florence and the Machine)
A simple anesthesia procedure on a dentist chair results to very great Britney Spears episode! I never thought acne products could do the same thing.
The whole soundtrack is G-O-O-D! But my favorites were Artie’s rendition of Stronger and the cast’s version of Toxic.
And like Britney’s reputation for great music videos, they were able to get it up to par. Looooooved the dancing! Brittany S. Spears is one hot lady!
Synopsis
A trip to the dentist for the Glee clubbers gives them hallucinations while Brittany’s psyche comes to focus and they sing some of special guest star Britney Spears’ greatest hits.
Full Recap
This week, Mr. Schuester assigns the Easy Listening genre for the glee club’s assignment. The members of New Directions are not too excited by the idea and Kurt tells Mr. Schuester there’s a Facebook group petitioning the glee club to perform Britney Spears at the homecoming assembly. Everyone is excited about the idea except for Brittany, who’s name is actually Brittany S. Pierce and she feels like she’s lived her live in Britney Spears’ shadow. Will goes to discuss the idea with Emma and she believes that Britney would be a good topic for the glee club and tells will that he’s too uptight. While they’re talking, Emma’s new boyfriend, Carl, pops in for a surprise visit. He complains that most of the students at McKinley High have poor dental hygiene and wants to talk to the school about having a seminar. Will offers to let him speak to the glee club in the hopes of getting into Emma’s good graces.
Other members of the football team attack Finn and rip up his varsity jacket. They said that now that Finn is off the team he no longer deserves the jacket. Artie comes over to apologize to Finn for getting him kicked off the team and also saves Finn from getting in a fight with his old teammates. Back in the glee room, Carl has brought plaque tablets for the kids. Most of the students have great, clean teeth with the exception of a few – Brittany, Artie and Rachel. Carl suggests they come in to see him.
Brittany is the first to visit Carl and just as he puts her under general anesthesia for her abundant cavities, a Britney Spears song comes on the radio. As Brittany goes under, she begins a dream sequence where she is Britney Spears singing “I’m a Slave 4 U.” Carl has Brittany return for another session since he could not fill all the cavities at once. Finn asks Rachel how she feels about his being kicked off the football team. Rachel is actually relieved that he’s no longer on the team. He’s hurt by her comments but she says she is just being honest with him. After Santana criticizes Rachel’s outfit in passing, Finn doesn’t defend Rachel and he says he agrees with Santana and he’s just being honest.
I can write about a more relevant post on why you need to get the rfid wallet feature, but there are more pressing matters to take my time, like discussing how each Glee episode had an effect on me I cannot believe F-O-U-R episodes have passed and I have not been able to blog about each line, song, dialogue and witty character.
