But I love me some good ole tradition of 4-leaf clovers and shamrocks.

When I was little, my mother had this tradition down to the letter. And she is not even Irish!

We would often wake up and find that a tricky leprechaun had snuck in our house again! He turned furniture and picture frames upside down, toilet papered the inside of our house AND the inside of our car, he left his magical leprechaun dust all along the windowsill, he turned our toilet water AND our apple juice green, and he stuck googly eyes all over our bathroom mirror! But he was also nice enough to leave behind rainbow candy (skittles), gold candy (toffee), gold coins (pennies), shamrock cookies and some fresh school and art supplies (leprechauns care about education you know…. )

Too bad I didn’t start that tradition with my kids.
Just one of those things that you tuck in and try to forget called regrets.
