Random Drug Testing Controversy
It has been proposed numerous times that random drug screening be performed at offices and schools to check employees and students. It has sparked debates and controversies because of the right of one person to his own privacy. But I for one, am for it, as long as there is a clear-cut process and that no frame-ups or blackmailing will occur. Studies have shown that random drug testing have been proven effective in deterring rampant spread of drug abuse in schools. Scheduled drug testing can be worked around with, especially if the drug testing kits used are for urine samples. Drugs will not stay in the urine if you refrain from using it for a couple of weeks. Since it is more cost effective, most schools and offices use this method of testing. The more effective way of testing is using blood samples.
Thousands of school districts are reporting record drops in student drug use and beginning athletic and random student drug testing programs. The reason for the sharp decline in student use and success in prevention is evident; most students will choose to not get high and save themselves over peer pressure if they absolutely are certain that there is a chance they will be receiving a drug test.
How to Achieve Christian Intimacy in a Marriage
Christian Intimacy is hard to achieve, even if a couple is married. Having sex is different from being intimate with your spouse. Of course, sex should still play an important role in one’s marriage and using Christian Sexual Aids and buying them from a Christian sex toy shop is perfectly fine as long as it is safe for both partners and has consent.
How do you become intimate? Here are some suggestions:
1. Spend at least two hours a week with your spouse, focused in doing some spiritual bonding – praying, reading the Bible, or doing some open forum about your marriage and how it is going. End your forum in prayer.
2. Make love. Take the previous two hours worth of spiritual energy, prayer, and Christian reflection, and now apply that to your love making practice. This is a celebration of your union.
3. Keep things interesting. Go to a fancy restaurant. Every so often Christian marriage sexual intimacy practice should call for planning something special to add excitement, pleasure and celebration to your lives. Sometimes changing a romantic setting would result in a passionate night with your spouse already.
Why Do Gadgets Just Keep Arriving?
If I stressed over every little thing, I am sure I would need some wrinkle removal cream! I have so many items on my wishlist that I am just saving up for something when another new item arrives! I often have to remind myself that I do not “need” everything, I just want them and therein lies the problem.
When will humans ever be content with what they have?
Printer cartridges and toner refill: my primary considerations for buying a printer
What are your considerations for buying a printer?
In my case, there is only one – ink. I print a lot of stuff that everything else about the printer gets dwarfed, including its size, its, its brand, or even its additional features. I print several materials regularly, which is why I need to keep the cost down in terms of the toner refill and printer cartridges that I need.
It doesn’t matter much to me if it is capable of scanning pictures, photocopying documents, or even if it doubles as a fax machine. I don’t even care if it’s an Epson, a Canon, an HP, or a Brother printer. For as long as it can handle the printing jobs that I dish out without burying me in ink bills, then it’s good enough for me.
I have also considered the other types of printer but I figured ribbons and lasers are just too impractical for me. Compared to the usual inkjet printers, laser printers are good but a laser printer cartridge is just too pricey, especially since it won’t last that long with the amount of things that I need to print. Ribbon-type printers, on the other hand, may cost less in terms of the ink, but they don’t print fast enough to accommodate the work load.
What I need and what I usually buy, are printers that work fast and work with as little ink as possible.
Forced Reading Hiatus.
The two books I have bought two (or is three?) weeks ago remain unread. Work has piled up so high that any form of recreation had to take a back seat. Now that everything is almost back to normal and my schedule has been slowly ironed out (gotta love schedules!), I think I can squeeze in a book this week. I plan to fix some things around the house and buy a couple of things like a computer chair, bunk bed, dresser and stainless steel drums – the list is pretty big I just hope that I can finally have some pure uninterrupted rest soon.
