Beyonce Knowles: People’s 2012 World’s Most Beautiful Woman

It’s official: Beyonce has been named People’s 2012 World’s Most Beautiful Woman. The new mom graces the cover of the magazine, looking as stunning as ever.

The singer, who welcomed her first daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, with husband Jay-Z in January, opened up about motherhood in the special issue:

“I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth … I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.”

Planning a Baptism

I never knew planning a baptism can be as stressful as planning a birthday party. Times have changed indeed! I am helping a friend plan my goddaughter’s baptism since she is still trying to recuperate from the delivery. I am in charge of looking for godparent gifts that we (me included) can appreciate and use and I thought, why not sweets? Food or gift baskets are practical gifts and I certainly would not mind receiving one :P

Preparing for Halloween

Before you start planning and going crazy for Thanksgiving and even Christmas (the holidays), there is Halloween to prepare for. I have friends who think that Halloween is the best celebration for the year. Dressing up is their favorite thing to do! If you need more Halloween decorations, click here for more inspiration. My kids are also excited for Halloween.

Let’s all say – TRICK OR TREAT!
