Planning a Baptism

I never knew planning a baptism can be as stressful as planning a birthday party. Times have changed indeed! I am helping a friend plan my goddaughter’s baptism since she is still trying to recuperate from the delivery. I am in charge of looking for godparent gifts that we (me included) can appreciate and use and I thought, why not sweets? Food or gift baskets are practical gifts and I certainly would not mind receiving one :P

Preparing for Halloween

Before you start planning and going crazy for Thanksgiving and even Christmas (the holidays), there is Halloween to prepare for. I have friends who think that Halloween is the best celebration for the year. Dressing up is their favorite thing to do! If you need more Halloween decorations, click here for more inspiration. My kids are also excited for Halloween.

Let’s all say – TRICK OR TREAT!

Celebrating the 4th of July with a BBQ and Swimming Party complete with Blow Up Pool Toys

I hope everyone is having an awesome 4th of July celebration. Friends in the US have taken a holiday today and are out with family and friends celebrating. Most of them are enjoying the nice summer season by having BBQ parties and a swimming party by the lake or pool. Most of them actually went camping.

I personally prefer to have a swimming pool party complete with pool toys to enjoy the nice (and hot) day. I am sure that the kids would love to swim also, and it would be a great activity aside from grilling BBQs and enjoying the picnic, don’t you agree?

A friend of ours is currently hosting a BBQ party in her backyard and since she has no pool, she just hired some really great blow up pool toys so everyone can enjoy some water fun. There are water guns, water slides, make shift pools but the kids’ most favorite pool toy would have to be the giant ball that squirts water when rolled in action. It was a special request of the kids actually. I bet when my kids see the pictures they would be requesting for one too!

Holiday Flowers

Everybody is switching into holiday mode with only 18 days left before Christmas! If you are from loved ones and would need to send them gifts, ordering them online and just having them shipped directly would be your best bet to make sure they receive it in time for Christmas. You can always count on rural flower delivery to send flowers and notes, letting them know you are thinking of them this holiday.

But you better start now!

Halloween Party Supplies

What is the next celebration in your list?

Mine would be Halloween. I never was the type who partied during Halloween, but ever since having kids who would die for candies, I am now part of the group of mommies who buy Halloween costumes as early as August and plan for them right after the last Halloween party ended.

Halloween is the second most celebrated holiday in the US. Christmas is the first and second is October 31st. And this is actually not surprising! With all the costumes, decorations and spooky but fun ideas you can use, it is easy to plan a celebration for your kids or your friends. This is also one party both adults and kids can enjoy (and dress up for!)

Trick or treating was a tradition for us these past three years but right now I am thinking of just joining, or even organizing, a Halloween party to make it more fun for the kids. There are a lot of party supplies and party games and ideas I can get from PartyPro.com. There are a lot of themed celebrations we can go for, actually.

When shopping for Halloween party stuff, it is important to find a store that offers a very wide selection of Halloween party props, decorations, costumes, and more. The perfect place would be PartyPro.com. They offer low prices, great customer service, and the ability to offer experienced advice when you need help choosing a Halloween party theme or décor. When you can find all of this in one place, your party is certain to be more successful and affordable.
