I have been looking for efficient but cute wall organizers for my workspace at home. I really do not have much choice on the space because we have such a small home. My files and books are scattered everywhere around the house. I would love for it to be in one area where I can look for them without almost losing my mind the I’d need residential rehab!

A friend whose father is a retired seaman has been talking about boats the other day. It seems that her father, after having spent years at sea, is now considering getting his own small boat that he can take on short trips to nearby islands. Since buying a brand new boat can be very expensive, he is thinking of buying a secondhand one or even building his own. He became even more interested in building his own or refurbishing a secondhand one when he saw the website of US Engines Inc. He thinks it’s where he could find a Marine engine or a Boat engine.

The company has been around since 1986 and they specialize on selling affordable and high quality rebuilt engines like Mercruiser engines. Their website provides adequate information for anyone who is planning to buy one of their engines. Even someone who does not know a lot about engines will find it easy to browse through their website and purchase an engine. They have highly qualified and experienced technicians who are always willing to help you with any of your concerns when it comes to boat engines. Since they also rebuild engines from customers, my friend’s dad is still considering getting a secondhand boat and just having its engine rebuilt. They are pretty excited about it and her dad is looking forward to quick fishing trips.

A few friends have been talking about setting up a dreamboard for themselves this year. Many have been saying it has been quite effective in making “their dreams come true” – and it is something worth trying. Not even the best fat burner can help me lose weight – maybe a little more motivation and inspiration will help?

Setting goals is something we are all familiar with. In fact, it’s almost become a cliche that some people no longer pay attention to. Making a dream board can take the cliche out of setting your life goals, and can even help you to accomplish those goals.

1. You can either gather use magazines or image websites. If you choose to use magazines, you should use different types, covering all the topics that you are interested in.

2. Go through each magazine and cut out any random pictures that appeal to you. Allow your mind to wander and follow your instinct. Find bright, colorful images that make you feel fantastic or get you thinking about what life could be like if it were you in that picture. Try to minimize the words that you cut out.

3. Purchase a magnetic board or a large blank painting canvas that is pre-strung on a timber frame and paper glue. These are inexpensive and available at a local art store. (A good size is 1m x 1.5m.)

4. Cut out the pictures neatly and stick them on your board.

5. Place the dream board beside your bed or in your office and look at it at least twice a day for about 5 minutes. Enjoy the images, enjoy your work and imagine yourself leading the life that is in your dream board.

6. You will notice in the following 12 months that you are starting to achieve some of the dreams you have stuck on your board.

I want to try new things this year and one of them is to be able to make things grow. In short, I want to be able to take care of a plant, let it grow and bloom. As of the moment I am leaning towards planting seeds for vegetables. God knows how much we need more veggies in the house. So I am on the lookout for Planters. I want my little experiment boxed in so I have more control on the soil (and I can move them around). Outdoor Planters and Garden Planters are high on my list.

Will this do?

The reason why I haven’t considered flowering plants is because I am so scared they would just wilt and die. Plus, my flowers in their Indoor Planters run a high risk of getting plucked out by my daughter everyday. Window Box Planters might work but definitely not those High End Planters:
 

Isn’t that picture the most enticing thing? Now if only I can blooms like that as well.

My aunt has a green thumb and she can make anything bloom under her care. She makes such pretty arrangements too. She invests on Decorative Planters  because she gives them away as gifts quite often. Wouldn’t you want to receive lovely blooms in a Decorative Planter?

I knew that there will come a time that surfing around endlessly will result to me saving a lot. I am a list maker. I love jotting down lists and it give me great accomplishment just to see them checked off one by one.

I spend a lot on planners too – but this is going to be making me save a few dollars. The lists are available in PDF file, making them printable! So if you want to have a lovely list that contains the things you need to buy from milk to diapers to dog supplies and bathroom cleansers, save yourself a few dollars and just have these printed!
