Why You Should Buy SABRE Pepper Sprays
Chances are, whether you are a man or a woman, you were encouraged to buy pepper spray back in college to protect yourself from burglaries, assaults and harassments. I know of so many women who own mace spray and carry it diligently in their purses only for it not to work when they need it! It can be embarrassing and frustrating – as you are counting on it to literally save your life in case of an attack.
You need to know how to use an OC spray. I think this would be the first requirement after owning one. The second requirement is to make sure it works at all times. It is common for a mace spray to have a shelf life of one to two years. Ideally, you are advised to replace it yearly, and keep count of how many sprays you have dispersed already. A canister delivers between 25-45 shots. If you replace your canisters every year, you can keep the old one and use it for practice.
It is recommended to buy the SABRE brand because of these reasons:
. 35 year track record – Making Grown Men Cry Since 1975!
. Protection Against Multiple Threats – SABRE Key Chains contain 25 bursts!
. Best 3rd Party Endorsement Obtained – ISO 9001:2008 Certification
. Reliability NOT Variability – High Performance Liquid Chromatography Guarantee
. Industry Endorsement – “The Most Potent Defense Spray” – P.G.R.A.
. Winner & Chosen Brand – “The Best Tactical Spray” – 2003 AZ OC Staff Study
. Domestic Credibility – Environmental Protection Agency Establishment
. International Credibility – Health Canada Establishment
. Added Bonus – Ultraviolet marking dye aids in suspect identification
. Superior Quality – SABRE products are test fired & checked for leakage before leaving the factory.

20 Things that Became DEAD this Decade (2000-2010)
2011 ushered in a new decade. And with a new decade came new gadgets, new acne treatments that work, new technology and space travel even. I would like to share an article I read at the Huffington Post. It chronicles some things that were obsolete at the turn of the decade and babies born this year would probably never know.
Some of the things that will be missed are these:
1. Handwritten letters
Love letters, thank you notes, and invitations have gone being hand-written to typed, and from the mailbox to the inbox. Sending online messages is a bargain next to $.44 stamp.
2. Calling
Text messaging, BlackBerry Messaging, Instant Messaging, Tweeting, Facebook messaging, and emailing have taken over communication and opened up new avenues for getting in touch. The popularity of text messaging is gradually edging out calling (and even talking face to face): The AP wrote in April 2010, "The frequency with which teens text has overtaken every other form of interaction, including instant messaging and talking face-to-face, according to a study released Tuesday by researchers at Pew Research Center and the University of Michigan."
3. The Separation Between Work Life And Personal Life
Our way of working has changed drastically this decade. These days, we no longer have to be in the office or even near a computer to be at work or in touch. With smartphones that are ever-more ubiquitous and ever-smarter, along with ultra-light laptops and WiFi in planes, trains, and automobiles, we can reply to our colleagues on the go and are accessible anywhere.
4. Bookstores
The last decade has brought bad news for bookstore-browsing bookworms. The rise of online retailers like Amazon, which offers bargain-basement prices on books and other items, and the increasing popularity of ebooks has put pressure on bookstores and put many of them out of business. Publishing industry insider Mike Shatzkin predicts, "what brick-and-mortar booksellers will experience in the first six months of 2011 will be the most difficult time they’ve ever seen" and, as HuffPostBooks wrote here, the pace of bookstore closings is increasing.
The 2010 TIME 100 – The World’s Most Influential People
How do you narrow the world’s 100 most influential people? Apparently, Time Magazine was able to, and I look forward to a lot of opinions and controversies when this hits the shelves.
Apparently, Sarah Pahlin is included as a LEADER and Bill Clinton as a HERO. Where is Al Gore and his work for the environment? Lady Gaga is there – no contest about that. Her weird and forward ways of thinking is very 2000-ish. I wont be surprised if she is Generation Z’s icon like how my years were Madonna
Ashton Kutcher is there too – because he was the first to bring Twitter to mainstream by commanding a million followers beating a news channel Twitter account? Hmmmmm….OH-kay. He might be influential too if he endorses an acne cleanser!
Read all about them here.
