Once Upon A Time
Plot:
Centers on a woman with a troubled past who is drawn into a small town in Maine where the magic and mystery of Fairy Tales just may be real.
I was looking another TV series to occupy me during the hiatus of several I follow (TVD, GA, Supernatural to name a few) because watching the second season of Game of Thrones just wasn’t enough to douse my TV addiction.
A friend raved about the TV series and I downloaded the whole season and guess what? We were done with it by the time a new week rolled in. I love that my kids got to watch it with me, since it’s rated PG (for me anyway) and they can easily identify characters in the series.
Props goes to the series creator and the writers – wow! To be able to conceive that concept of parallelism and tie up all those fairy tales alone was magnificent. I love how they were able to establish the connections of everybody in the cast with one another before the season ended. I was hoping though that magic would not be restored immediately, but it would make for an exciting second season.
I definitely recommend this TV series. One worth watching every week (and no there are no cute guys) – it’s that good for me! I would not waste watching it if it’s not that great when I needed to study commercial insurance quotes for my father in law’s new biz!
