I watched two movies with only one main character in almost 90% of the movie. During the course of the movies, you are often left to wonder whether their families should start making funeral arrangements already but these movies end differently.

If you do not have the stomach for self-mutilation, don’t watch the movie. You will literally cringe throughout the movie and you might realize that one small irresponsible action (like not telling anyone where you are going, even if you are past 30!) can ultimately risk your life. It makes me want to make sure I am physically fit, just in case anything happens.
Paul Conroy is not ready to die.
But when he wakes up 6 feet underground with no idea of who put him there or why, life for the truck driver and family man instantly becomes a hellish struggle for survival. Buried with only a cell phone and a lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited. Poor reception, a rapidly draining battery, and a dwindling oxygen supply become his worst enemies in a tightly confined race against time- fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only 90 minutes to be rescued before his worst nightmare comes true.
Ryan Reynold is able to to take you through everything just by acting in a box. It ends tragically (spoiler alert) but then, this movie is about real life, unfortunately. Ryan is the only actor you will see in this film and every scene is shot with him buried to the ground – alive.
