Holiday Flowers

Everybody is switching into holiday mode with only 18 days left before Christmas! If you are from loved ones and would need to send them gifts, ordering them online and just having them shipped directly would be your best bet to make sure they receive it in time for Christmas. You can always count on rural flower delivery to send flowers and notes, letting them know you are thinking of them this holiday.

But you better start now!

Glee Season 2 Episode 9: Special Education

Finally, the story just keeps getting better. I was afraid they were losing the storyline, with focusing more on the songs instead of the characters (The show wont hold up with just songs! People need a story to look forward to every week). Notice how almost all songs were towards the end. You would not even care Kurt is missing so much in this episode, or Mr. Schuester for that matter. Slip a chair slipcover in his head and he might as well have no story to look forward to now that Emma is married. Maybe Holly Holiday will now be back!

Naya, aka. Santana, nails it. However, I was enthralled with Mike and Heather’s dancing. Bravo!

Microsoft Kinect

Have you heard of Microsoft’s answer to Nintendo’s Wii? Look at the new addition to the xBox 360 system, the Microsoft Kinect.

You are the controller. No gadgets, no gizmos, just you!

Kinect brings games and entertainment to life in extraordinary new ways without using a controller. Imagine controlling movies and music with the wave of a hand or the sound of your voice. With Kinect, technology evaporates, letting the natural magic in all of us shine.

And they are doing a great sales job because the news state that it is the fastest selling gadget in history, beating the Apple iPad and Nintendo Wii console.

Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect sales has surprised the world of gaming, with the latest figures suggesting the sales rates of the Kinect have now surpassed that of the Apple iPad and Nintendo Wii console. Microsoft’s goal for the end of the year is 5 million units, after selling 2.5 million units in 25 days we would say they are well on there way.

There has been large advertising campaigns globally and it would seem that this console accessory has attracted even the casual gamer with its cutting-edge technology, allowing players to use their own body as a controller without wires or a conventional hand-held controller. A vast number of people have taken a liking for the Kinect, likely to be due to the unique and revolutionary gaming experience that it provides, as well as the additional cool features such as voice control.

As Neowin rightly put it:

According to Readwriteweb.com, Microsoft sold 2.5 million Kinect’s in the first 25 days which means they are averaging 100,000 units a day. At this rate, Microsoft has taken the title of fastest selling gadget in history from Apple as it is selling twice as fast as the iPad.

How to clean furnace filters

Owning furnace filters has its benefits. However, it has its down sides too. Perhaps, the greatest thing that people hate about furnace filters is cleaning it. If you haven’t cleaned yours before, here are the steps that you can follow.

First, before you actually reach for the furnace, it would be good if you can sweep or vacuum the floor of the furnace area first. This will provide you a better room to operate.

Second, turn off the furnace and the motor using the service panel located somewhere near the furnace itself. This is essential because you could hurt your hand if you accidentally brush against the motor while it is turned on.

Third, by using your hands, pop open the panel door gently. Inside the chamber, you should already be able to reach the filter. It’s a rectangular mesh screen located near the blower. It’s almost the same as the one you see in air purifiers. Once you see it you can gently slide it out.

Afterwards, you can brush and vacuum the accumulated dust and foreign particles sticking to the screen or you can gently hose them down with water. Just be sure to let the screen dry completely if you decide to hose it down.
When it’s all dry, just reattach the things you took out and then it’s back to normal. You can once again enjoy a safe home and some fresh air.
