Living in Seattle doesn’t seem like a bad idea. It is home to the largest coffee companies in the world, rated second in literacy among the largest cities in the US, and considered a hotbed of green technologies, architecture, and development. Its subtropical climate is more than hospitable for city living, and its people are also warm.
Seattle construction boasts of its own engineering wonders like the Space Needle, the Smith Tower, and the Columbia Center, some of the early 80s structural marvels. And with a former classmate turned seattle general contractor, I’m guessing building a home there isn’t going to be much of a problem either, not that it’s difficult to get a seattle contractor. There are lots of excellent choices for establishing a home and the city supports green living so you can look forward to a clean environment for you and your children.
If I were to live and raise my family somewhere in the US, Seattle would probably be one of my top city choices. It’s not that difficult to imagine myself and my husband sharing a cup of coffee there in our dream house, looking up at the famous tower so often featured in movies and TV shows, and living a busy but easy Seattle life.
