Spring Forward!
Almost everyone I know is on a diet, trying to be on a diet, planning to be on a diet. And most of them are also exercising, signing up for marathons (is this the new thing besides badminton?) and doing all sorts of healthy stuff. I have yet to put myself up for a drive on an elliptical but the “Get Healthy” bug has rubbed off me and I am trying to put at least 10 minutes a day working on The 30-Day Shred and doing some walking. The husband almost had to pick his jaw from the floor when he saw me buy salad packets – enough to last me a week.
Personally, I really do not want to publicize my commitment, if ever I am truly deeply committed, to this get healthy spring board I started. I prefer to keep things low-key just to make sure I really lost that 50 lbs I want to shed.
I’d be happy if I lose 20 by next month and would probably be over the moon if it’s going to be 30.
So note to self: Make yourself go over the moon, OK?
