Nope, not pregnant.

We have a puppy in the house, but the way I am spending for the little pup, it would seem I am spending for a baby too. The kids love him, he is half-pekinese and half shitzhu and is only one month old. I never knew dog care can be this expensive!

For one thing, he needs to be vaccinated as well. He needs his own bed and we were advised not to lock him up in a cage (he is a lap dog). A donut cushion, a cave, or a travel bed are options.

He needs special dog food. We bought the dry variety of dog food, and we just add a little water since he is still young.

And don’t get me started on the grooming tools he needs – I might as well be taking him to a salon!Since he has a tendency to grow his hair long, this dog might need three types of brushes: pin brushes, slicker brushes, and matt combs. Dog grooming can be quite expensive!

Then there are dog toys to consider too – the list is endless! I might really have just had a baby!
