Rough Roads and Terrain Driving
It is already the middle of the week and it has been raining non-stop since Saturday! We have been seeing news of flooded roads in the cities, traffic and even land slides on mountain area which holds houses. It has been depressing. While we live in the country, I am grateful that we live in the mountains so floods are the last thing that will happen here. The fog has been very bad though – and since we are only a few houses surrounded by hundreds of trees, we can literally hear the winds crying and howling at night. It can get pretty scary. It also has been cold – so cold that even my kids, who cannot sleep without fans blaring at their uncovered bodies full blast, do not notice when I turn the fan off at night.
Our house in the city is an entirely different story altogether. My sister told me that flood water has not let up since Monday and the rains are making it worse. Only 4×4 cars (SUVs) and trucks can pass through a certain bridge. Our hometown province has dirt roads and only 4×4 cars can pass through it. We need Tire Mounting Tools too, you have to agree that sometimes you need to buy things out of necessity.
Our uncle needs to have his 2008 Ford F-250 upgraded to a lift because he is the mayor of a swamp town and when it rains it gets flooded and muddy!
