Saturday 9: Joy to the World

Saturday 9: Joy to the World

1. What to you is the most joyous aspect of the holidays?
For me it is all about family. And my kids. Christmas took a whole different meaning when I had kids. Seeing the joy in their faces whenever they open gifts, no matter how small, really is enough to make me happy. Christmas really is for the kids.

2. Do you get much snow where you live? If yes, do you enjoy winter sports like skiing or would you rather stay in by the cozy fire?
We live in a tropical country so no snow here!

3. Have you ever been on a sleigh ride or a carriage ride? Do you even like horses?
I have ridden a carriage many times but I am not a fan of horses nor horseback riding :)

4. During the busy week, what do you do to relax?
I play Cafe World at Facebook. Consider me bitten!

5. Do you get stressed during the holidays?
A Lot – mainly because our days are always packed with activities.

6. What holiday song could you happily never hear again?
Ack. So many. Honestly.

7. How do you decide on what present you pick for a person?
I try to make sure that the gift is well thought of and is something he can use. Usually though I just ask what they want!

8. What does this holiday season mean to you and why?
This one is extra special because we have a very special visitor this year.

9. What holiday movies best describe the season for you and why?
Home Alone – we are a very BIG and clannish family.

Rayban Aviator Sunglasses

I have a slight obsession with sunglasses lately. Blame it on my newfound irritation of the sun. I have also been experimenting with various styles and no longer wear my rainman shades all the time.I am still scared to try the very cool Ray Ban Aviator Sunglassesas have insecurities with my nose still.I might just get it for my husband. He looks very handsome in any sunglasses he wears! I find it slightly unfair sometimes.

I remember the time when Rayban sunglasses were the coolest sunglasses in town – before the Oakleys were brought into the limelight.I would still prefer the classics though, who wouldn’t?

Good for the Eyes

An online friend recently decided to have eye laser surgery to correct her vision. She has been using eyeglasses with a grade of 450/350 for 5 years now and now that she is of age, she wants to be able to free herself of the need to be able to wear glasses all the time to be able to see. Lasik is a surgical procedure that changes the shape of the cornea to reduce the need for spectacles or contacts. Lasik has many distinct advantages over other refractive surgery procedures, but also has limitations that may indicate something else or no surgery is best for an individual patient. Fortunately, there are based in Boston so they can just avail of the Laser Eye Surgery Boston procedure from Boston Laser called iLasik. iLASIK is the new name for a specific combination of technologies making up the all-laser lasik procedure that they have been offering for almost a year now.

Their laser refractive surgeons are certified have a high reputation for their friendly, pleasant but very high quality and professional service. Her doctor was Samir Melki, PhD, the founder of the Boston Laser Group and she claims that he is certainly one of the best eye refractive doctors in Boston.
