Quaker Oats: Good For the Heart
That’s what Quaker Oats cereal, or oatmeal, has for its tagline.
Quaker Oats.
Good for the heart.
When coronary heart disease became one of the tip five leading causes of mortality around the globe, doctors, scientists and health experts have tried to find a way to not only stop it, but prevent it from happening.
Enter the discovery of the importance omega fatty acids to the body. These essential fatty acids contain the link to prevent buildup of fat along the coronary arteries thus preventing coronary heart disease.
Fish oil omega 3 fatty acids can be found in abundance in fish (oils mostly, tuna is best). It has been clinically proven that it has the components necessary to stimulate the breakdown of fibrin, which helps clot and scar formation – making you not an easy target for varicose veins, high blood pressure and high blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
Omega 3 health supplements of course, quite expectedly, in abundance today, as manufacturers try to capitalize on the amazing discovery. However be wary of false or impure supplements. A quick way to test it is to store them in the freezer overnight. If the capsules, which should always be clear, turn hazy, it means that are impurities, commonly lard on it. Make sure to get pure supplements! Omax™ is proven to be a pure omega 3 health supplement.
A Fall Meme
Sunday Stealing: A Fall Meme
It’s not really fall in until…
What did you need to do in the waning days of summer for it to feel complete?
I need to go to the beach, most definitely!

Assuming that you write an anonymous or partially anonymous blog, by what non-physically identifying characteristics might you be identified in a bar?
I have a very characteristic writing style. People, friends actually, recognize me, almost instantly.
Most blogs cover some sort of niche – personal, political, dating, culinary, etc. What topic, if any, would you like to address on your blog but doesn’t fit into your niche?
Dating and Political.
If you could manipulate the time space continuum and give as many as three pieces of advice to a younger version of yourself, what advice would you give and to what age of you?
Age 9 – Dont be in a hurry to grow up.
Age 15 – Listen to your Mom
Age 19 – Mind over heart, and pray for guidance.
Who among your friends do you really wish had a blog because their stories, or perspective on something ought to be shared?
My dad actually. He is really wise.
If you were to take an e-cation (vacation from the trappings of our electronic world,) and assuming that employment obligations would allow it, how long of a break could you take? What would you miss the most, the least?
I’d take a break from the internet for a week. I’d miss Twitter the most, because I connect there daily with friends. I’d miss waiting for jobs the least.
On September 11th of this year, I attended a couple of parties and was somewhat conflicted by the fact that this ignoble anniversary shall pass with it being just another day in the eyes of many (and in some ways my own eyes as well.) Thoughts?
People should move on. They should remember it in heart, not necessarily stop for it.
How high are your walls? Who was the last person to scale them? What tools should would-be climbers have on their belt?
I have high walls. The last person who was able to scale them is now my best friend. You need perseverance, a witty sense of humor, and patience.
The sexiest thing a man or a woman can say to you (or has said to you) is:
Tell me I’m the sexiest woman as well
I Call Your Name
1. If you could have named yourself, which name would you have chosen, and why?
I’d still choose my name. It is extremely unpopular, so I am assured I am one of a kind.
2. If you could relive a year in your life, what age would it be, and why?
I’d relive the age when I was 16. Sweet 16.
3. If you could go back and change one friendship in your past, who would it have been, and why?
I’d try to change and not fight with my best friend from high school. I think we would still be great friends if not for the stupid fight.
4. If you could have dated one person in your past that you did not date, who would it be, and why?
I have around three people in mind. But I’d rather not tell my reasons.
6. If you had the opportunity to live in another country, which one would it be, and why? If you choose NOT to live in another country, why do you want to stay in your current country?
I’d choose the Land of Milk and Honey. Because I want to try and say Ive lived there.
7. If you could choose your dream job, what would it be, and why?
Somewhere working in the medical field. I love grossness and helping people out.
8. If you could wish a wish and it be guaranteed to come true (other than riches) what would it be, and why?
I wish my family will never have to suffer the pains of separation because of recession in the economy. I want us to sleep together in the same bed for all time.
9. If you could meet two blogger friends (you may choose more, if you wish) who would they be?
I’d like to meet SomethingPurple and Faye.
I Love the Vendo.
One very nice childhood memory I have was going to the mall every Sunday after mass to eat. After lunch, my Dad will give us a coin each so we can choose what to get from the candy vending machines. I would always choose to get bubblegum. If I am lucky, I would get the bubblegum in my favorite color – pink! I am amazed how simple things can make me happy back then.
Can you imagine all those candies? A friend will have her daughter’s first birthday soon and her theme is going to be CandyLand. Her invitations are even round candy vending mini versions. I can’t wait to get it! Vendstar offers you the best franchise business opportunity – that of candy vending machines. If you wish to benefit from a unique home-based business opportunity, Vendstar can help!
