Mrs. O saving Fashion Retailing?
We all know how the First Lady, Michelle Obama, helped J.Crew boost its sales after being repeatedly seen wearing their clothes for work and play. Mrs. O, as she is fondly called, admits to liking shopping online.

She was featured in Time Magazine as being someone who can save the fashion retail world, which has been in a slump due to the recession. J.Crew’s sales manager considers her a gift because whatever she wears will definitely be a sold out the next day, even having thousands of waitlist orders on queue.
It helps that what she wears is something that is very common-class. She doesn’t mind wearing $200 cardigans whereas women with her stature would be wearing everything designer. US News & World Report tells us that it is very good for her image, as the country is in a financial slump, that the First Lady is taking measures to conserve money as well.
She made fashion story headlines by wearing a toy watch to Paris. She wore the Plasteramic Neon UltraViolet you see below:
I am predicting this would be a hit gift for Christmas.
